This is photo-album style book with a collection of "cutting paper." These are colorful, detailed, and very delicate tissue paper designs that are snowflake-thin. The cutting paper is HAND CUT and is an example of a long-held tradition of folk art. Each cutting paper design is behind a clear cellophane sheet for protection. There are 10 pages to turn with 10 different designs on each page. Flip the book over, and the pages fold out the other way as well, for an additional 10 cutting papers, different designs.
This book has a beautiful silk cover with an Asian landscape print.
Quantity is very limited on these vintage books. These books are approx. 25-30 years old, and were found in a warehouse in China where they were stored for decades.
