This is a large Chinese wooden knife. It was used for slicing open shad on the boat or pier. It is carved in the shape of a slender fish and the patina of the lovely dark wood shows very well. The blade folds in and out very nicely. The open blade cutting section is and two inches long (very sharp.)
Approx. dimensions: 6 inches long, 1.75 inches thick
