This is one of our favorite teapots in our store! There is a painted scene with a man and a boy in an outdoor background. It appears they are on a journey as they have traveling sacks. The chinese writing on the opposite side is a poem written in 1916 about a student and teacher, and how they are in a nature outdoor setting and they feel the breeze and hear lovely music. The writing on the lid means "tea that cools you down." The writing on the bottom of the teapot is a place that monks go to meditate, like a retreat in the woods.
Approx. Dimensions: 3.25 inches high, base is 4 inches in diameter, and spout to edge of handle is 5.5 inches. This is a one of a kind item. Once it is sold, it will no longer be available. We may have similar items now or in the future.
