This is a handmade child's silk parade hat from Tibet. The detailed stitching and design shows time and patience from an artisan long ago. Eyes and a mouth on the front side (forehead area) with ears and a curly tail! Turquoise blue silk with purple silk ears and magenta and gold thread, along with gold paper stitched with black for extra flash! There is threaded fringe "fur" lining the edges, which made this hat one of our favorites! Two small bunnies are stitched white with magenta ears on the backside (not pictured.) There is just too much to describe! This is a very old item, the silk is slightly dirty in some areas (when you look up closely) but the colors still show bright. It is very excellent for its age. As with its long age, it has some light dirt spots here or there. We recommend that you enjoy displaying them as they are, with no cleaning. We do not sell any parade hats that we feel anyone would be disappointed with when they receive them.
Approx. Dimensions: 5 inches high, base is 6 inches in diameter, 4-5 inches deep. This is a one of a kind item. Once it is sold, it will no longer be available. We may have similar items now or in the future.
