This is a very old handmade large wooden fishing knife that was used in slicing open shad on the boat or the pier. IIt is carved to the shape of a fish, complete with tiny lines etched to represent scales. It is in excellent condition. The patina on wood shows very well. The blade folds in and out very nicely, and the open blade cutting section is 3 1/2 inches long. A great gift for your favorite fisherman!
